Miss Read 2026 Tote Bag Project 〰️

These tote bags are secondhand. Each one was already used, already carried, then collected and given a new life through silkscreen printing.
Rather than producing new bags, this project brings old ones back into circulation. Every bag is different, so no two prints are the same.
The Identity
The print is the visual identity of Miss Read 2026. The letters M, I, S, R, E, A, D are broken down into simple shapes. One shape can be read as more than one letter, so the same forms shift between reading and misreading. Since the name Miss Read already plays on misreading, the identity lets form and letter stay loose, never fixed to one meaning.
SET
The identity is the 27th version of SET, an ongoing project by Na Kim that began as a book in 2015. SET sorts graphic work by shape and color instead of by its original use, then rearranges those pieces into something new. It has appeared as books, walls, and installations. With these bags, SET moves into a new form, one you can carry.

**Please note**
All prints are made live and by hand, so slight imperfections are part of the process. Some details may not come out perfectly, and minor smudging or variation can occur.
After pickup, avoid folding, pressing, or stacking anything on the printed area. Let it dry in a cool, shaded place for at least 3 hours.
To wash, turn the garment or bag inside out and machine wash at 40°C (104°F) or below.

Na Kim is a graphic designer and artist based in Berlin and Seoul. Across publishing, exhibitions, and curation, she collects and rearranges found materials through deliberate systems, and runs LOOM, a project space in Berlin hosting exhibitions and gatherings.
studio.maus is a design studio based in Berlin and Seoul. Through handmade silkscreen prints, graphic T-shirts, and small objects, we reinterpret everyday elements and cultural differences in graphic form, each piece carrying a hidden story from the moments around us.
