Catalog and material of the exhibition "Mit einem Fuß in der Realität" by Joëlle Tuerlinckx and Willem Oorebeek held in Badische Kunstverein in 2004. The production of this catalogue happened in great parts on site at the studio of Brussels based artists Joëlle Tuerlinckx and Willem Oorebeek, in parallel to the making of the art works. Each of the 344 sheets was photographed by the artists, and subsequently processed, scanned and put on page immediately. This enabled artists and designers to collaborate in an immediate way and discuss mutual thoughts. The caption section at the rear of the book is a hybrid of information on the work and typographic fragments of how the particular work is perceived by a viewer.

The Infinite Library, Books 1-50

Founded in 2007, The Infinite Library is an ever-expanding archive that brings together books collected by Epaminonda and Cramer, dating from 1890 up to the 1980s. Each book has been dismantled, modified and reshaped into a new volume. These modifications are done through free associations of ideas, forms and materials that unfold in the process of making. Through this methodology Epaminonda and Cramer go against traditional categorization principles of books and libraries, with which the artists open up a myriad of possibilities for interpretation as well as knowledge reproduction and distribution. This is the first publication of the eponymous project by the artist duo and fully documents the first 50 books.
